Supervision

CBT & EMDR Supervisor & Lecturer | Accredited EMDR Practitioner | EMDR Consultant-in-Training

Supervision should be both safe and stimulating—a space where therapists can bring challenges without fear, and leave with new insights, practical strategies, and a sense of professional growth.

My approach blends structure with flexibility, expertise with curiosity, and clinical rigour with humanity.

I am an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Supervisor with over 15 years in clinical practice, accredited as a CBT Therapist (BABCP) and as an EMDR Child and Adult Practitioner. Currently a consultant-in-training, I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and adults.

Alongside my clinical work, I am an Honorary Lecturer at University of Lancashire and Fellow of Higher Education, UK. I have experience of teaching and supervising students on Masters in CBT.

I have experience in assessing Practice Assessment Documents (PADs), marking clinical essays, and serve as a trained Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) assessor, supporting the development of future CBT practitioners.

Supervision Experience

I offer clinical supervision for trainee, newly qualified and experienced CBT and EMDR therapists, providing a supportive and collaborative space to develop confidence, clinical skills and professional growth.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I have experience in project management and service development within mental health settings, giving me a strong understanding of both clinical practice and leadership.

I provide both one-to-one and group supervision, supporting therapists working with a wide range of presentations including trauma, anxiety, OCD and complex mental health difficulties. I also support therapists working towards BABCP and EMDR accreditation.
